Matthias Sander

Matthias Sander has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy sector. Matthias started their career as an intern at Lahmeyer International GmbH in 2002 before moving on to work as a Wind Energy Consultant at Cube Engineering GmbH. Matthias then joined WSB Service GmbH as an O&M Engineer for wind farms, followed by a role as Head of O&M Management at Levanto Service GmbH. Matthias subsequently worked as a Technical Manager onshore Wind at GDF SUEZ Energy International and later joined reconcept GmbH as an International Project Manager in the Renewable Energy sector. Matthias then transitioned to E.ON, where they served as a Performance & Contract Manager for Offshore Wind. Prior to their current position as Head of Asset Management at Ventient Energy, Matthias worked at RWE Renewables as a Performance & Contract Manager for Offshore Wind.

Matthias Sander's education history begins in 1995 when they attended IHK Hessen DE at B. Braun Melsungen AG. Matthias completed their studies in 1998, earning a degree as a Certified Electronic Technician, specializing in Industry Production Technology. Following this, Matthias enrolled at Universität Kassel (DE) in 1998 and graduated in 2003. During their time at the university, they pursued a dual degree program and obtained both a Dipl.-Ing. (grad. Eng.) and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Energy, Wind, and PV.
