Chris Ridge

Chris Ridge has extensive experience in the education sector, working in various leadership roles over the years. Currently, Chris is the Director of Comprehensive Health and Prevention at the Ventura County Office of Education. Prior to this, Chris served as the Director of Pupil Services at the Oxnard School District from 2015 to 2021. Chris also held the position of Principal at both Lang Ranch Elementary School in the Conejo Valley Unified School District (2011-2015) and Dorothy Grant Elementary School in the Fontana Unified School District (2006-2011). Before becoming a principal, Chris worked as an Assistant Principal at Oak Park Elementary School in the Fontana Unified School District (2004-2006). Chris began their career as a Program Facilitator and Teacher on Assignment at Mission Elementary School in the Ontario-Montclair School District from 1997 to 2004. Overall, Chris Ridge has demonstrated a strong commitment to education and has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

Chris Ridge attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1989 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature. They also received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Educational Administration from Chapman University from 2002 to 2003. In addition, Chris Ridge studied at Indiana University Bloomington from 1984 to 1986, although the degree and field of study are not specified.
