Songyang Li

Songyang Li has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to 2014. Songyang started their career as an Engineer at Beida Jade Bird Huaguang Technology in 1999 and worked there until 2001. Songyang then joined Nanyang Technological University as a Research student from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, they worked as an Engineer at SIF-Universal before joining Finisar in 2005. At Finisar, they held various roles including Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Manager, Optical Sub-Assembly until 2011. In 2011, they became the Managing Director at Santur Corporation, which was later acquired by NeoPhotonics. Songyang continued working as the Managing Director at NeoPhotonics until 2014. From 2014 onwards, they joined Venture Corporation Limited as the NPI Engineering Director & TCS Business Director.

Songyang Li earned a B.Eng degree in Optoelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1999. From 2001 to 2004, Li pursued a Ph.D in Photonics at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
