Will Alteneder

Will Alteneder has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Will is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Venture Global LNG since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Engineering at Venture Global LNG from 2022 to July 2023. Before joining Venture Global LNG, Will worked at Chevron for many years, where they held several leadership roles. Will served as the Engineering Manager Angola LNG, overseeing business planning, process safety, and team leadership from 2018 to 2021. Will also worked as the TCO Tengiz Facility Engineering Supervisor from 2012 to 2018, managing cross-functional teams and annual CAPEX programs. Will was a Business Unit Lean Sigma Advisor from 2010 to 2012, implementing structured process improvements. Will started their career at Honeywell UOP Training as a Chemical Process Engineer from 1986 to 1991 and later gained experience at VECO Engineering and NANA WorleyParsons as a Project Manager.

Will Alteneder holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University. Will also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Aspen Capital Cost Estimator - Certified User and Aspen Plus Certified User from Aspen Technology. Will is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the states of Washington and Alaska.
