Christian Henrichson

Director, Vera Insights at Vera Institute of Justice

Christian Henrichson has extensive work experience in the field of criminal justice research and policy analysis. Christian began their career as a Research Assistant at MDRC in 1999 and later worked as a Research Intern at The Urban Institute in 2001. In 2002, they joined the Social Security Administration as a Research Analyst before transitioning to the NYC Office Management & Budget in 2003, where they served as a Unit Head until 2010.

In 2010, Henrichson joined the Vera Institute of Justice, where they held various roles over the course of a decade. Christian started as a Senior Policy Analyst before becoming the Unit Director of the Cost-Benefit Analysis Unit in 2014. In 2016, they were promoted to Research Director of the Center on Sentencing and Corrections. Currently, they serve as the Director of Vera Insights. Henrichson's expertise lies in research, cost-benefit analysis, and policy development within the criminal justice field.

Christian Henrichson attended Gettysburg College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Christian pursued further education at Georgetown University from 2001 to 2003, obtaining a Master of Public Policy degree, specializing in Public Policy.
