Satya Ayyalasomayajula

Satya Ayyalasomayajula has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology and data industry. Satya is currently the Director of Big Data at Vericast, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at U.S. Bank from 2015 to 2022 as part of the Enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI Solutions team, where they managed Data Lake and multiple Data Warehouses using Hadoop/Big Data technology.

Before joining U.S. Bank, Satya held positions at Northern Trust Corporation as the Vice President from 2006 to 2014, where they managed Distributed databases, Data lakes, and multiple Data Warehouses utilizing Hadoop/Big Data, RDBMS, and NoSQL technology. Satya also worked as a Senior Database Consultant from 2004 to 2006 at Northern Trust.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at American Express from 2002 to 2004, a Consultant at AT&T from 2000 to 2002, a Senior Software Engineer at Al Rajhi Bank from 1999 to 2000, and a Consultant at EDS Group from 1998 to 1999.

Throughout their career, Satya has gained expertise in managing data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, and building data analytics teams. Satya has a solid understanding of on-premise and cloud network architectures.

Satya Ayyalasomayajula completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Programming from Osmania University in 1996. Satya also completed the Harvard Business Analytics Program at Harvard Business School. Additionally, they hold a certification as an HDP Certified Spark Developer from Hortonworks.
