Antoine Blanchard

Antoine Blanchard is a Director at Verisk since March 2021, leading a team of climate/ML scientists in accelerating simulation of weather extremes with machine learning. Formerly a Senior Scientist at The Engine in March 2022 and MIT from August 2017 to March 2021, where Antoine focused on machine learning and mathematical modeling for extreme event prediction and mitigation. Antoine has also held positions as a Computational Science and Engineering Fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Blanchard obtained their PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
