Víctor Bañón Guijarro

Víctor Bañón Guijarro has worked in various roles in the fields of biotechnology, genetics, sales, and insurance since 1992. Víctor began their career as a Jefe de Equipo at Santalucia Seguros in 1992, followed by an Asesor Comercial role at MAAF Assurances - Groupe Covéa in 1994. Víctor then moved to Albabroker S.L. in 1995 as a Corredor de Seguros. In 1999, they joined GSK as a Visitador Médico, introducing generic products to medical professionals and pharmacies. In 2005, they moved to Takeda Farmacéutica España in a similar role, where they achieved sales growth of over 40%. In 2008, they joined Angelini as a Visitador Médico, where they were responsible for introducing products in the Gynaecology, Pain, Oncology, Locomotor Apparatus and CNS, Primary Care and Pharmacy markets. In 2017, they joined NIMGenetics as a Molecular Product and R&D Specialist and Sales Specialist, providing advice to scientific and medical personnel on the most effective approach to NGS Sequencing, RNASeq, Genome, Arrays, Transcriptome, etc. Víctor is currently working as a Territory Sales Manager East Spain at Veritas Intercontinental, where their mission is to promote full genome sequencing, bringing genetics closer to people and empowering them to maximize the quality and duration of their lives and those of their families, changing the way the world perceives genetics.

Víctor Bañón Guijarro attended Universitat d'Alacant from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Técnico en Empresas y Actividades Turísticas degree in the field of Marketing de servicios de turismo y viajes.
