Kathleen Buckingham

Kathleen Buckingham is an experienced director in the fields of science and impact assessment, currently leading R&D and applied science teams at veritree to develop scalable solutions for ecosystem health, biodiversity, and carbon monitoring. At tentree, Kathleen managed planting portfolios and nature-related reporting, and formerly launched fiber traceability initiatives and circularity programs. Prior experience includes senior management roles at the World Resources Institute focusing on social research in forest restoration and serving as an advisor to the UN FAO on forest management. Kathleen holds multiple advanced degrees in Environmental Studies, Geography, and Data Science from prestigious institutions, and has contributed to various educational and consultancy roles in sustainable development and research.
