Daniel Read

Daniel Read is currently the Sr. Managing Associate General Counsel for Global Tax Planning and Legal at Verizon. Previously, they held various roles in tax law and planning, including positions at KPMG and as Director of Tax Planning at MF Global. Daniel began their professional journey as a PGA Golf Professional with PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties and transitioned into the legal field after earning a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. They also have experience as a manufacturers sales representative for Nike and have worked as an attorney at several law firms, focusing on tax transactions and controversy matters.
