Jeff Pruett

Jeff Pruett is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience leading security engineering teams. Currently serving as Associate Director of Security Engineering at Verizon since April 2017, Jeff has spearheaded initiatives to enhance security orchestration and automated response capabilities within the enterprise. Jeff's previous roles at Verizon include Senior Manager of Security Engineering and Senior Principal of Cybersecurity Risk Management, where strategic programs were developed to improve the organization's security posture. Prior experience includes managing a cybersecurity team at Leidos and holding multiple leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, focusing on technical direction for cybersecurity and infrastructure projects. Jeff's career began with system administration roles and includes entrepreneurial experience. An alumnus of UC Santa Barbara, Jeff holds a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science and an AA in Liberal Arts from Allan Hancock College.
