Mikael Lytzau Forup

Mikael Lytzau Forup has a diverse work experience in the field of ecology. Mikael currently serves as the Director of Ecology at Verna, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ITPEnergised as the Head of Ecology from April 2018 to January 2023. Before that, they held various roles at Atmos Consulting Ltd, starting as a Principal Ecologist in May 2015 and later becoming a Technical Director from April 2016 to April 2018. Mikael also worked as a Principal Ecologist at Jacobs from July 2014 to May 2015, and as a Senior Ecologist at SKM Enviros from September 2009 to July 2014. Mikael Lytzau Forup received their B.Sc. (Hons) in Ecological Science from The University of Edinburgh, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Mikael then went on to pursue a PhD in Restoration Ecology at the University of Bristol from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, Mikael holds a certification as a Certified Environmentalist from the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
