As Senior Program Officer, Africa & Middle East), Regional Engagement provides guidance and support to project developers who utilize Verra programs, standards, and frameworks to achieve climate and sustainable development goals.

Prior to working at Verra, Nazia worked in various organizations in the field of climate change and sustainability in India and the U.S. She has eight years of experience in the field of sustainability.

Nazia holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics (Hons) and a Master’s degree in Energy Studies.
