Nick Balodimos

Nick Balodimos is currently the Assembly Manager at Vert Rotors. Prior to this, they were the Assembly Group Manager at Vert from June 2018 to May 2022. Nick was also the Supply Chain Engineer at Vert from October 2017 to June 2018. Before that, they were the Engineering Manager at Specialist Lubricants Ltd from September 2015 to October 2017.

Nick has led new product development projects, including the development of two hydraulic pump systems. Nick has also spearheaded the development of a new modular lubrication applicator. Nick has successfully improved production and assembly processes, by implementing 5S methodology in the production area. Nick has also restructured inventory management and reduced inventory cost by 20% in the first year, by changing over to a Pull Production System.

Nick has also successfully designed and implemented a Continuous Improvement framework (Kaizen), based on lessons learned, employee feedback, supplier feedback, and customer feedback. This has helped the company improve customer communication, supplier relation management, purchasing, and project management. Nick has also negotiated supply agreements and contracts, and has managed dispute resolution process with clients and suppliers alike. Nick has successfully led all major client projects, managing multiple projects at once across multiple countries. Nick has also acted as Quality Manager, maintaining and updating the QPM. Nick has developed quality control protocols and introduced internal auditing processes, helping the company achieve ISO9001:2015 certification.
