Daniela Rojas

International Project Manager at Vertical Field

Daniela Rojas has extensive work experience in various roles related to design and project management. Daniela is currently working at Vertical Field as an International Project Manager and previously held the position of Innovative Ventures Designer at the same company.

Prior to their current role, Daniela worked at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they held multiple positions. Daniela served as a Design Coordinator for projects funded by the Chilean National Fund for Cultural Development and the Arts (FONDART), including the projects "ECCCO: Academy of scientific video games for learning digital skills and disseminating knowledge to the community" and "Symbiogenesis Based Design (SBD): web repository of endemic biological adaptations for use in solving design projects from methodologies based on cooperation and integration." Additionally, they worked as a UX-UI and Graphic Designer and an Academic Instructor at the university.

Prior to their time at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Daniela worked as a Strategic Designer at Works - Laboratorio de Desarrollo Creativo. Daniela also gained experience as an Academic Assistant at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Earlier in their career, Daniela worked as an Interior Design Specialist at Muebles Valdes and completed research internships and assistantships at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Daniela Rojas began their education at the Instituto Hebreo, where they studied Educación básica y media from 1999 to 2011. Daniela then went on to the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from 2011 to 2017. During this time, they also studied International Relations & Foreign Affairs at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2012 onwards. In 2016, Daniela enrolled in The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) to pursue a second Bachelor of Arts degree in Design. Daniela'seducation continued in 2019 when they attended the Instituto de Filosofía y Ciencias de la Complejidad (IFICC), where they completed a Diploma in Philosophy of Science with a focus on Biology. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering, Design, and Art at Shenkar - Engineering. Design. Art., with an expected completion date in 2024. Daniela also obtained a certification in the Command Line Course from Codecademy in July 2021.
