Mariya Mego Vela

Mariya Mego Vela is a Frontend Engineer at VerticalChange. Mariya has previous experience as a Front End Developer at Underdog Media and as a Customer Support Representative at FastSpring. Mariya has also interned as a Full Stack Developer at BitBroker and Galvanize Inc. In their previous role as a Senior Care Associate at Brooklyn Bark Pet Care, they provided care for animals and helped with customer service. Mariya has also done Microfossil Research Internship at American Museum of Natural Theirtory where they collaborated with paleontologist to obtain past research, conducted research on samples obtained by teammates, and published research in a paleontology paper.

Mariya Mego Vela's educational career includes a degree in Environmental Studies from Hunter College and a degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island. Mariya also has a certification in Full Stack Web Development from Galvanize Inc.

They work with Johnny Martinez-Nolasco - Infrastructure Engineer, Matt Willhite - Lead Engineer, and Brandon Jahner - Lead Engineer. Mariya Mego Vela reports to Dylan Stamat, Co-Founder & CTO.
