Jamie Denizio

Associate Principal Scientist, Gene Editing at Verve Therapeutics

Jamie DeNizio is an associate principal scientist, gene editing at Verve Therapeutics; with research experience in the areas of DNA modifying enzymes, nucleic acid chemistry, and epigenetics. She recently received her Ph.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in biochemistry and molecular biophysics. During her tenure at Penn, she co-authored more than fifteen papers, presented at domestic and international conferences, and was supported by both a National Institutes of Health T32 training grant and National Science Foundation graduate research fellowship. She received her B.A. in chemistry with a minor in art history from Haverford College.
