Parker Buckley

Parker Buckley is a proficient software engineer with extensive experience in backend engineering and full-stack solutions. Currently serving as Lead Backend Engineer at Veryable since April 2022, Parker has successfully led a team of six engineers in developing microservices using TypeScript across various domains. Previously, Parker worked as a Backend Web Engineer at Veryable, focusing on complex business logic and implementing a read-only GraphQL service. Prior roles include Software Engineer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Parker supported the Laboratory Information Management System, and Software Engineer Intern at Computer Services, Inc., where Agile methodologies were practiced. Parker also contributed as a Peer Tutor at the University of Kentucky and gained practical experience as a UPS Loader. Parker holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
