Paul Woolard, CPA

Paul Woolard, CPA has over 30 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Paul began their career in 1988 as an Audit Senior at KPMG. In 1992, they joined Illinova Generating / Illinois Power as a Finance Manager, where they were responsible for project finance, corporate finance, and other project specific due diligence and international tax structuring. Paul also participated in negotiations of 13 project investments with total equity investment by employer of $279 million. In 1998, they became the CFO at Johnston Supermarkets, responsible for full scope of administrative and finance activities. In 1999, they joined Tate & Lyle as Director, Business Integration - Global R&D, and later became the Treasurer, Americas. In 2009, they joined Archer Daniels Midland Company as Director - Strategy, Business Development, M&A (Corn Processing) and Director - Commercial Development (Renewable Chemicals). In 2014, they were appointed as a Board Member at BioBlend Renewable Resources, LLC. In 2018, they became VP, Finance/Risk Management at Eco-Energy LLC., responsible for commodity risk monitoring and reporting, daily forecasting for all business segments of the company P&L, Credit Management, Contract Management and Environmental Credit Compliance. In 2019, they became a Partner / Executive Committee member at Veteran Ventures Capital, LLC.

Paul Woolard obtained a dual degree in Accounting, an MBA and a BBA, from Harding University between 1984 and 1987. Paul also holds certifications from Illinois and Tennessee as a CPA, CGMA, and CertICM.
