Maya M. LVT, CVT has a diverse work history in the veterinary field. Maya started their most recent position in 2022 as a Triage Registered Veterinary Nurse at GuardianVets. Prior to that, Maya obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pre-Veterinary Studies from Palm Beach State College, where they studied from 2020 to 2022.

Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Maya earned an Associate of Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology from City College of Hollywood. During their time there, from 2017 to 2019, they specialized in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant.

In addition to their formal education, Maya has obtained certifications to further enhance their skills in the veterinary field. Maya became a Certified Veterinary Technician through the Florida Veterinary Technician Association Inc. in June 2020. Maya also became Fear Free Certified through Fear Free LLC in July 2020.
