Justin Wong

Justin Wong currently serves as the VP of Tax at VGW, a position held since 2018, where responsibilities include heading the tax department. Previously, Justin was the Group Tax Counsel and Group Tax Manager at VGW. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate at Grant Thornton Australia focusing on corporate and international taxation, and as a Lawyer in corporate/M&A at K&L Gates. Justin's early career involved roles as a Summer Clerk and Paralegal at K&L Gates. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Hons 1 and a Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting (BCom-Accg) from Macquarie University, an exchange program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting in Accounting and Finance from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Education was completed at Western Canada High School in Calgary, AB.
