Emily King is an accomplished researcher and academic with extensive experience in home healthcare and aging studies. Currently serving as the Director of Research at VHA Home HealthCare since September 2019, Emily has held multiple managerial roles within the organization. Additionally, Emily has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto since July 2021. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo and a PhD Candidate at both the University of Toronto and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, where research focused on injury prevention for caregivers. Emily's educational background includes a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
