Christine Guyot, B.S., VTS-LAM, RLATG has a diverse work experience in the field of veterinary and animal research. Christine started their career as a Receptionist at J.Lohr Vineyard and Wines in 2007 before transitioning to a role as an Intramural Sports Supervisor at the University of California, Riverside. In 2011, they worked as a Veterinary Technician at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology. Christine then gained experience as a Veterinary Technician at the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center from 2010 to 2013, where they performed various medical procedures and assisted veterinarians. From 2013 to 2020, Christine worked at BioTox Sciences as a Research Associate, conducting in-vivo and in-vitro studies and documenting clinical observations. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician II/Research Associate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where they provided healthcare to various animals and supported investigators with special procedures. In 2020, Christine joined Scripps Research as an Animal Resource Supervisor, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the welfare of animals. Christine then worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician at La Costa Animal Hospital from 2020 to 2021, and at Veterinary Emergency Group from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Research Associate at ViaCyte, conducting animal studies and assisting with operational management and documentation. Throughout their career, Christine has demonstrated expertise in laboratory animal medicine and has obtained certifications in Veterinary Technician Specialty in Laboratory Animal Medicine (VTS-LAM) and Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist (RLATG).

Christine Guyot obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biological Studies with an emphasis in medical biology from the University of California, Riverside, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Animal Technology from San Diego Mesa College between 2010 and 2012. Christine is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the University of Saint Joseph, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.

In terms of certifications, Christine has obtained several credentials. Christine became a Registered Veterinary Technician through the Veterinary Medical Board in March 2012. Christine also holds certifications from AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science), including Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (obtained in May 2014), Laboratory Animal Technician (obtained in January 2015), and Laboratory Animal Technologist (obtained in September 2015). Additionally, they obtained the VTS-LAM (Traditional Nursing) certification from the Academy of Laboratory Animal Veterinary Technicians and Nurses-VTS/VNS-LAM in January 2023.
