Emily Cardner is the current Head of Talent at Viam. Emily has 11 months of experience with the company in various roles, including Head of People and Head of Talent. Prior to their work at Viam, Emily was an Advisor for Untapped for 1 year.

Emily began their career at Yahoo, where they worked for 2 years and 3 months as a Talent Acquisition Programs Analyst and Talent Acquisition Coordinator. While at Yahoo, they were responsible for managing the global Yahoo Employee Referral Program (25% of total hires), creating and implementing a new Employee Referral Program process through Avature, and coordinating interviews for North America Sales and Media from December 2012 to October 2013. Emily also coordinated interviews for Executive candidates from October 2013 to July 2014.

Prior to their work in Talent Acquisition, Emily worked as a Sales Associate for Signpost for 6 months.

Emily Cardner has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from the University of Delaware in International Business and Spanish from 2008-2012. Emily was involved in Alpha Delta Pi, Blue Hen Leadership Program, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Order of Omega while they were in college. Emily has taken courses on LinkedIn to learn how to be a technical recruiter and how to create a compelling job description.
