Valerie Caritoux

Valerie Caritoux has extensive experience in the legal field, with their most recent role being Senior Director, Legal at Viant Technology since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as Director of Legal Affairs at Yahoo from December 2021 to January 2023. Valerie also held the position of Director Legal Department at Verizon Media from February 2019 to October 2021. Before joining Verizon, they worked as the Legal Director, Ad Platforms at Oath from January 2014 to February 2019. Valerie's career started at NOMOS in 1998, where they served as counsel until October 2008. valerie then joined Yahoo as Legal Director, General Counsel from January 2009 to January 2014.

Valerie Caritoux attended Ecole du barreau de Versailles from 1994 to 1995 and was admitted to the Barreau de Paris. valerie then pursued their Master's degree in International Trade (DESS) and Master's degree in European relations (DEA) at Université Paris Nanterre from 1992 to 1994. Valerie Caritoux also studied at Texas Tech University in 1992-1993, where they earned a Master's degree in International Law. Prior to that, they completed their Maitrise in Droit, specializing in International Law, at Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
