Dana Gruen

Dana Gruen's work experience is primarily in the field of labor and employment law. Dana started their legal career as a Labor and Employment Attorney at Seyfarth Shaw from 1999 to 2003, where they gained expertise in various labor and employment laws. Dana then worked at SNR Denton as a Labor and Employment Attorney from 2003 to 2006, continuing to litigate labor and employment matters. After that, they joined Foley & Lardner LLP as a Labor and Employment Attorney from 2006 to 2007, where they represented clients in litigation, mediation, and arbitration cases.

In 2007, Dana transitioned to the corporate sector and joined Quad, where they held various roles over the years. Dana began as an Employment Counsel, handling all employment-related legal matters for the company nationwide. In 2010, they became the Director of Labor and Employment Law, responsible for managing labor relations, employment litigation, and overseeing labor and employment aspects of corporate transactions.

Dana continued to progress within Quad and held positions such as Assistant General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel, and VP, Chief Compliance and Risk Officer & Deputy General Counsel. In these roles, they handled legal, risk, and compliance functions for the company, including labor and employment, litigation, commercial contracts, healthcare, crisis management, data privacy, and environmental health and safety.

Currently, Dana is working at Quad as the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, a position they assumed in February 2023.

Dana Gruen obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 1996. Subsequently, they attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.), graduating cum laude.
