Antonio Thomas

Antonio Thomas is currently a Talent Acquisition Operations Contractor Specialist at Viasat. Prior to this, they served in the United States Marine Corps for 23 years, where they held the position of Human Resources Operations Manager. In this role, they provided leadership, direction, guidance and counsel to over 300 personnel on career development, professional progress, and administrative matters in order to improve individual and unit effectiveness and readiness. Antonio also developed 174 Officers and Marines in career mapping for 23 different military occupational specialties, and catalyzed training in additional military skills and certifications for nearly 100 Marines. Additionally, they supervised training and onboarding of 1,500 new Marines and mentored 80 Drill Instructors.

Antonio Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in Administration/Management from Excelsior University, an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Central Texas College, and various certifications in diversity, equity and inclusion, HR guidelines, and humble leadership.

Antonio Thomas reports to Curtis L., Vice President, People and Culture. They work with Meagan Wall - Onboarding Specialist, Rachel Jobin - Director of International Benefits and Total Rewards Projects, and Anders Strothman - Head of Global Rewards, People & Culture Systems and People Analytics.
