Seema Taylor

Seema Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Seema started their career as a Systems design/Electrical Engineering Co-op Student at MDA Space Missions (formerly Spar Aerospace) before moving on to work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University. Seema then joined Micralyne as a Project Engineer and later became the Team Leader for Project Management.

Seema also worked at Enbridge Pipelines, where they held the positions of Engineer and Supervisor in the Integrity Solutions team. Seema then transitioned to Clarity Dynamics Inc. as the Executive Vice President, providing consulting support for management and reporting in R&D and other technical areas.

Their experience also includes working at Valard Construction LP, where they held multiple roles such as Manager, Special Projects and Deputy Vice President - Project Management. Seema was responsible for driving the adoption of project management processes and overseeing project managers and assistants.

Most recently, Seema Taylor worked at Victor Energy - North America and Java Holdings Ltd as a Director for Projects and Execution Leadership respectively. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and executing project-specific plans, supporting project management best practices, and providing integration support for operational business units.

Seema Taylor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electronics Engineering (Honours) from Simon Fraser University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005. Seema further pursued their education at the same institution and completed a Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Engineering - MEMS/Microfluidics from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Seema has obtained professional certifications in Project Management and is a licensed Professional Engineer with both Engineers and Geoscientists BC and The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
