Soren Blau

Soren Blau currently serves as the Head of the Anthropology and Archaeology Division at the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), where responsibilities include overseeing operations and providing expertise in forensic archaeology and anthropology across various regional programs. Additionally, Soren Blau holds positions as an Adjunct Professor and Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University, and as Manager of Identification Services and Senior Forensic Anthropologist at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Flinders University and Lecturer at Bournemouth University. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Archaeology and Osteology from the University of Sydney, a Master’s Degree in Osteology, Palaeopathology and Funerary Archaeology from the University of Bradford, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology and French from the University of Sydney.
