Deep Learning Scientist at VIDA

Iman Rahmansyah Tayibnapis has extensive work experience in the field of AI research, computer vision, and image processing. Iman Rahmansyah currently works as a Deep Learning Scientist at VIDA Digital Identity since 2023. Prior to that, they were an AI Research Group Lead at Nodeflux from 2019 to 2022, where they managed a team and focused on improving the performance and accuracy of AI models.

Iman also worked as a Research Engineer at DGIST Convergence Research Center for Future Automotive Technology from 2016 to 2019, where they conducted research on smart vehicle technology, computer vision, and AI. Iman Rahmansyah was responsible for developing driver monitoring systems and managing interns for research and development.

Before that, Iman was a Research Fellow at KIT Computational Medicine Laboratory from 2014 to 2016, where they worked on bio-signal processing and non-contact vital signs measurement using computer vision and sensor fusion. Iman Rahmansyah also gained experience as an Electrical Maintenance Trainee at Wärtsilä, a Research Intern at ITB-Microsoft Innovation Center Laboratory, an Intern for Informatic Technician at Balai Besar dan Barang Teknik, and as a Mechanical and Electrical Technician Intern at Schlumberger.

Iman Rahmansyah Tayibnapis completed their education in a chronological order. Iman Rahmansyah began their academic journey in 2008 at Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB), where they obtained an Associate's degree in the Department of Automation & Mechatronic Engineering, with a concentration in Mechatronic Engineering. Iman Rahmansyah then pursued further studies and enrolled at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in the Department of Electronic Engineering, specializing in Digital Media Engineering between 2011 and 2013. In 2014, Iman continued their education at Kumoh National Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in the Department of IT Convergence Engineering, with a concentration in biomedical engineering, completing their studies in 2016.
