Anup Khela

Anup Khela is an experienced Senior Human Resources Professional with a demonstrated history of diversity recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, team building, manager development and employee health and wellness programs.

Anup graduated with honors from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’ s Degree in Human Services Management along with a minor in Diversity Studies and Counseling. She also holds a nursing degree and began here professional career as a nurse before transitioning into human resources upon graduating from WWU.

Ensuring employees have a positive work experience at Vida and striving to make Vida an employer of choice are Anup’s overriding goals as the Director of Human Resources. She is the go-to person for all things HR or, as she calls it, “the resources for humans”!

Anup is committed to social and racial justice, diversity and health equity initiatives in where she volunteers as a domestic violence peer counselor. She spends her time as a career coach and mentor for underserved youth at Seattle Area Youth for Christ and provides community support services as a healthcare navigator and is active with her church community.
