May Horimoto

May Horimoto's work experience includes various roles in the intellectual property industry. May is currently the Senior Director of Licensing & Business Development at VideoLabs, Inc., where they lead efforts to disrupt the patent licensing model and drive down costs and risks. Prior to this, May was the owner of Astrum Law and worked as a Licensing Executive at Patent Platform Services. May also has experience as a Senior Director of Patent Enforcement at TiVo and as an IP Counsel at IPVALUE Management, Inc. May began their career as an Associate at Sony Computer Entertainment America and as a Patent Associate at Hitachi, Ltd. Throughout their career, May has been involved in closing deals, drafting legal agreements, managing portfolios, and asserting patents.

May Horimoto studied abroad at Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law in 2008, as part of the Japan Campus School of Law: J.D. Semester Abroad Program. Prior to that, they attended the University of San Francisco School of Law from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in Law.
