IJsbrand Schouten

IJsbrand Schouten has extensive experience in the healthcare and finance sectors, currently serving as Voorzitter Raad van Bestuur and Lid Raad van Bestuur at VieCuri Medisch Centrum since January 2017 and also as Bestuurslid NVZ at Nederlandse Vereniging van Ziekenhuizen since January 2024. Previous roles include Lid Raad van Bestuur at Cicero Zorggroep from January 2010 to December 2016 and CFO at Research International from January 2008 until its merger with TNS NIPO in August 2009. IJsbrand was Managing Director at Vattenfall's Dutch subsidiary from January 2003 to December 2007 and held various interim management positions between September 2000 and January 2003 across several companies, including KPN Telecom. Beginning a career in finance, IJsbrand served as Group Controller and Controller Division at Exact from June 1994 to August 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor in Finance and Administration from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and further studies at Nyenrode Business University.
