Suming Wang

Suming Wang is the current Associate Director of Translational Sciences at Vigeo Therapeutics. Suming has held this position for 1 year and 7 months. Prior to this, Suming was a Principal Scientist at Vigeo Therapeutics for 3 years and 10 months. Before that, Suming was a Consultant at VIGEO THERAPEUTICS, INC. for 7 months.

Suming’s research focus has been in the area of cancer, specifically small peptide cancer therapy, tumor metastasis, and cancer stem cells. Suming’s research career began as a Research Fellow/Postdoc at Boston Children’s Hospital, where they focused on the aforementioned areas of cancer research. After 6 years at Boston Children’s Hospital, Suming moved to University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Research Associate/Postdoc, where they again focused on assay development for screening of genes and proteins that regulate exocytosis pathway.

Suming Wang has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Bachelor's degree in Life Science from the same school.
