Julie Appleton

Julie Appleton currently serves as Vice President - Lead Real Estate and Construction Counsel at VillageMD since June 2024 and holds a position as a Board Member at Clindevex Consulting Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Julie was Vice President, Corporate Real Estate Counsel at Anywhere Real Estate Inc. from July 2011 to June 2024, where significant contributions included drafting and negotiating a variety of real estate transactions, managing legal disputes, and implementing impactful departmental restructuring. Julie's legal career began at Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland Perretti LLP, progressing from Associate Attorney to Executive Legal Counsel, with additional experience as an attorney at Linens 'n Things and in store development at Starbucks Coffee Company. Julie holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The George Washington University.
