Jarno Ojala

Jarno Ojala's work experience includes a role as a Senior Service Designer & User Experience Researcher at Vincit since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior User Experience Researcher & Designer at Vincit starting in February 2017. Before joining Vincit, Jarno was a Researcher and PhD candidate in User Experience at Tampere University of Technology from September 2011 to April 2017. Jarno also worked as a Researcher at the university from March 2010 to October 2011. Jarno began their career as a Research Assistant at TUT in 2008, where they worked until March 2010.

Jarno Ojala obtained a PhD in User Experience from Tampere University of Technology from 2011 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Philosophy in Interactive Technology from the University of Tampere between 2004 and 2010. Jarno also attended Tampere Polytechnic from 2002 to 2004, but no degree or field of study information was provided for that period. Additionally, Jarno Ojala has obtained certifications in accessibility, including the IAAP Certified Professionals in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) from the IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals in April 2021, as well as the CPACC certification from the International Association for Accessibility Professionals in March 2021.
