Liisa Karttunen

Liisa Karttunen has extensive work experience in the fields of strategic design, service business design, and art direction. Liisa currently holds the position of Senior Strategic Designer at Vincit since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Service Business Designer at Motley Agency from April 2022 to September 2022. Before that, they were employed at Solita Design & Strategy from January 2020 to March 2022 as a Service Business Designer. Liisa also worked as a Service Business Designer at Palmu from October 2015 to January 2020.

In addition to their design roles, Liisa Karttunen co-founded Aqua Robur in May 2014 and served as a business developer. Liisa was a co-founder and designer at Mostest from 2001 to 2004. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Art Director at Olivia Magazine at Bonnier Publications AB from September 2008 to August 2013. Liisa was also an Art Director at Trendi magazine at Forma Publishing Group from 2003 to September 2008, and at Ylioppilaslehti from August 2000 to May 2002. Additionally, they worked as an Art Director at Bisnes.fi from January 2003 to July 2003.

Liisa Karttunen completed their education in a chronological order. Liisa obtained a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Design from Lahti Institute of Design between 1997 and 2001. In 2000, they also attended Design Academy Eindhoven where they pursued the Department Man and Communication, although no specific degree is mentioned. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Liisa Karttunen pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Design at Chalmers University of Technology.
