Darby McGrath

Darby McGrath's work experience includes roles at multiple organizations. Since 2013, they have worked at the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, starting as a Research Scientist in Environmental Horticulture and eventually becoming the Vice President of Research and Development. They have also served as a Program Leader at Vineland from 2018 to 2022. In addition, Darby has held positions as a Board Member at the Local Enhancement & Appreciation of Forests since 2020, as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor at Brock University since 2019 and the University of Waterloo since 2012.

Darby McGrath pursued their education in a progressive manner. Darby first attended Lake Forest College from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. The specific field of study for their undergraduate degree is unknown. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Waterloo, where they completed a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from 2006 to 2009. Lastly, Darby McGrath continued their academic journey at the University of Waterloo, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social and Ecological Sustainability from 2009 to 2012.
