Paula Withell is a seasoned marketing executive with extensive experience leading brand strategy and insights across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Global Head of Brand Strategy, Insight and Activation at Virgin Atlantic since January 2023, Paula previously held senior roles including Interim Group Brand Marketing and Insight Director at Saga plc, where a major brand transformation program was executed, and Director of Brand and Marketing at British Gas, focusing on brand repositioning and digital growth. Earlier career highlights include serving as Head of Marketing for The National Lottery, where Paula managed a £5bn turnover portfolio, and Head of Brand and Communications at Tesco, overseeing a £90m ATL budget and successful campaigns. A graduate of Brunel University with a Master’s Degree in International Marketing, Paula has consistently driven customer-centric strategies and delivered significant ROI improvements throughout their career.
