Eric Gommel

Eric Gommel has a diverse background in healthcare strategy and business development. Eric currently holds the role of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Virginia Health Services, where they are responsible for driving growth and cultivating business opportunities. Prior to this, Eric worked as the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at the same company, leading efforts to source capital and develop external relationships.

Before joining Virginia Health Services, Eric served as the Director of Business Development at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, where they played a key role in renegotiating payer contracts and identifying growth opportunities. Eric also worked as the Senior Director of Strategy at Rochester Regional Health, overseeing a variety of strategic initiatives and providing financial modeling support for acquisitions.

Eric's earlier experience includes working at the University of Rochester Medical Center as the Manager of Health System Strategy, Planning, and Development, as well as at Stifel Financial Corp. as a Vice President and Senior Equity Research Analyst specializing in healthcare service providers.

Eric Gommel has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Eric also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University. Additionally, they have a Certificate in Customer Experience from the University of Richmond.
