Peter T. has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Peter began their career in 1988 at Cooper/T. Smith as a Superintendent for Sea Land Operations in New Orleans. Peter then moved to P&O Ports in 1992, where they held the position of General Superintendent for Sea Land in New Orleans. In 2000, Peter joined APM Terminals as a Marine/Yard Manager in New Orleans and later in Portsmouth, VA. Peter became the Operations Control Center Manager in 2007 and left the company in 2011. Peter then joined The Port of Virginia in 2010 as Manager of Gate Services, progressing to the role of General Manager of Operations in 2011. Peter later served as Director of Terminal Services in 2012, Vice President of Multi-Purpose Terminals Operations in 2014, and finally Vice President of Project Implementation from an unspecified date.

Peter T. attended the University of New Orleans from 1983 to 1985 but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from the University of Phoenix.
