Katie Harvey

Katie Harvey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and accounting. Katie is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to their current role, Katie worked as an Independent Consultant for a short period in January and February 2023. From April to August 2022, they served as the Director of Accounting at Mayvin, Inc. Before that, in February and March 2022, they worked as an Independent Consultant again. Katie's longest tenure was at Trident Systems, where they held several positions. From June 2019 to November 2021, they worked as a Consultant in-house. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Finance & Administration from December 2007 to May 2019, and as the Director of Finance & Administration from February 2006 to December 2007. Before joining Trident Systems, Katie worked as a Senior Accountant at Strategic Analysis Incorporated from February 2005 to February 2006, as a Senior Accountant at Enterprise Integration, Inc. from October 2004 to January 2005, and as a Divisional Accountant at PEC Solutions from April 2004 to September 2004. Katie started their career as a Staff Accountant at Trident Systems in June 2001 and worked there until March 2004.

Katie Harvey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from George Mason University.
