Simone Jaspers

Simone Jaspers has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Simone currently works at Viroclinics-DDL as the Director of Internal Logistics & Lab Support, where they are responsible for managing sample logistics and setting up a department for basic laboratory activities. Prior to this, they worked at Sanquin as a Production Manager, overseeing manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering projects for immunodiagnostics and serological tests. Simone also played a key role in obtaining ISO13485 certification and ensuring compliance with regulations. Before working at Sanquin, Simone worked at DSM as a Plant Manager, leading manufacturing operations for antibiotic residue tests. Simone also worked as a Project Engineer, contributing to renovation and construction projects, and as a Process Engineer, designing and adapting factories for pharmaceutical production. Simone has also been involved in safety studies, retreat facilitation, and employee training throughout their career.

Simone Jaspers completed a WO Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Twente from 1990 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Jacobus College from 1984 to 1990, where they pursued Gymnasium B. In addition, Simone obtained a Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt certification from the Lean Six Sigma Groep in 2021.
