Mark Spears Jr

Mark Spears Jr has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Biology Lab Assistant at Bob Jones University in 2005. Mark then moved on to work as a Painter at Scott's Painting in 2008 and a Research Laboratory Technician at Michelin in 2007. In 2010, Mark began working as a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2014, they took on a role as a Client Advisor at Global Imports BMW. From 2015 to 2018, Mark worked at Wyatt Technology as an Applications Scientist and Southeast Regional Manager. Mark then took on a role as a Senior Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in 2018, and currently holds the same role at Virscidian, Inc.

Mark Spears Jr began their educational journey in 2004 when they enrolled at Bob Jones University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-med/Pre-dent with a Chemistry Emphasis in 2008. In 2010, they enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry in 2014. During their time at Georgia Institute of Technology, Mark earned a Management of Technology Certificate from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business in 2014.
