Emma Carolina Arenas Díaz has worked in the Human Resources field since 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Psychology at Giros y Finanzas, where they were in charge of recruitment and selection of candidates according to the requested profile, position level, and required competencies. Emma Carolina then moved to Quala S.A. as a Talent Acquisition Junior Consulting, where they were responsible for the same tasks. In 2018, they began working at Caravela Coffee as a People & Culture Coordinator, where they were responsible for strategic change of the HR area and generating development and performance measurement strategies for the operational staff of the Threshing Plant. In 2022, they began working at Lean Tech as a Wellness Coordinator, where they were responsible for developing, executing, and supporting activities oriented to maintain the good quality of life and work and family balance of the employees. Emma Carolina is currently employed at iQor as an HR Generalist, providing support in all functional areas of Human Resources, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, coaching, development, and training. Emma Carolina is also employed at Virtuagym as an HR Team Lead, managing, administering, and shaping the future of the People and Culture Team for the Medellin, Colombia office.

Emma Carolina Arenas Díaz is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development at Universidad Externado de Colombia, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2021. Prior to this, they completed a Psychology degree at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali in 2017. Emma Carolina also holds a Bachelor's degree from Colegio Hispanoamericano, which they obtained in 2011.
