Daniel Sieroka

Daniel Sieroka has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

Daniel most recently worked at ViB as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, starting in January 2023.

Prior to that, they served as the CTO/VP Engineering at FlowPoint Technologies Ltd. from October 2021 to August 2022. In this role, they led a team of 9 developers and was responsible for the entire lifecycle of the company's financial risk management and compliance product. Daniel also handled tasks such as release management, DevOps, architecture, design, development, testing, and support.

From September 2020 to October 2021, Daniel was the Senior Manager of Software Development at Canada Protection Plan. Here, they led a team of 9 developers in evolving the Insurance Application Management System used by brokers. Daniel also initiated a project to migrate the entire platform from on-premise legacy hardware to AWS.

In 2012, Daniel worked at Embotics Corporation as a Senior Manager of Software Development. Daniel opened a satellite development office and led the development, design, and architecture of the company's datacenter management product, vCommander.

From 2011 to 2012, Daniel was a Senior Consultant at Everest On-Line Learning Center. Daniel played a role in the assessment, development, and deployment of an e-learning platform.

At CIBC, Daniel held multiple roles. Daniel was a Senior Manager of Software Development where they managed the release of the enterprise-wide customer information warehouse. Daniel also worked as a Senior Systems Developer.
