Samir Alagic

Samir Alagic has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Samir is currently working at virtualQ as an Enterprise Sales Lead since July 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Sales Manager in the DACH-Region at virtualQ from October 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining virtualQ, Samir took a sabbatical from July 2019 to September 2020.

In their previous roles, Samir worked at UPS as an Enterprise Account Manager in the APAC region from May 2017 to June 2019. Samir also served as an Enterprise Account Manager and Business Development Manager at UPS Capital® from January 2016 to April 2017 and from May 2015 to December 2015, respectively.

Samir's career at UPS started in 2007, where they held various positions such as National Account Manager from November 2012 to April 2015, Senior Account Executive from November 2010 to October 2012, Account Executive from April 2008 to October 2010, and Inside Sales Executive from February 2007 to March 2008.

Prior to UPS, Samir worked at Stütz Immobilien Vermittlungs GmbH as a Real Estate & Insurance Manager from September 2005 to January 2007 and at NORMA Lebensmittelfilialbetrieb GmbH & Co.KG as a District Manager from March 2004 to August 2005.

Samir's early career involved working as a Wholesale & Export Merchant at Dachdecker-Einkauf West eG from August 1994 to September 1998.

Samir Alagic completed their education at various institutions. Samir obtained a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Applied Sciences / Fachhochschule Dortmund in Germany. Additionally, they participated in the International Business Studies Network Program at Universitas Udayana, where they spent a semester abroad. Samir also attended Berufsschule des Westfälischen Genossenschaftsverbandes e.V. Münster, a vocational college, where they received a degree as a Wholesale & Export Merchant. Finally, they completed their general qualification for university entrance, known as Abitur, at Gymnasium Hammonense in Hamm, Germany.
