Sina Shamshiri

Sina Shamshiri has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2004. In 2017, they became the Head of Engineering at Virtuoso, where they are currently building the first self driving car for the testing world. From 2009 to 2017, they were a Visiting Researcher, Postdoctoral Research Associate, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Engineering Ambassador, and Course and Student Representative at The University of Sheffield. In 2014, they became the CTO on premise (technical adviser) at dotforge | Tech Startup Accelerator. Prior to that, they were the Founder of Host Install - Web Solutions from 2004.

Sina Shamshiri's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Software Engineering and Computer Science from The University of Sheffield, earned between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Enterprise Computing from The University of Sheffield, which was completed between 2009 and 2012. Before attending The University of Sheffield, Sina Shamshiri attended National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET) for Middle School, High School and Pre-University, where they studied Mathematics and Physics from 2002 to 2009.
