Joana Carvalho (She / Her)

Joana Carvalho has been working in the technology industry since 2009. Joana began their career as a Trainee at XISNET, and subsequently worked as a Junior Programmer at CSide I Intelligent Solutions, SA. Joana then moved on to Farfetch, where they served as a Performance Engineer and Software Developer from 2013 to 2015. Joana then joined Mindera as a Software Developer in 2015, before transitioning to Workday as a Performance Engineer in 2016. In 2018, they were promoted to Lead Performance Engineer at eShopWorld, and in 2020 they moved to Postman as a Performance Engineer. Most recently, they have been employed as a Site Reliability Engineer at Virtuoso since 2023.

Joana Carvalho obtained their Licentiate degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Universidade do Minho in 2015. In addition, they hold certifications from various institutions, including the Virtuoso Onboarding Course from Virtuoso (2023), Catchpoint Certified Analyst from Catchpoint (2018), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft (2015), MS: Programming in C# Specialist from Microsoft (2015), Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance (2016), and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
