Leanna Kent

LeAnna Kent is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis and research. Currently a Senior Data Scientist at Visa since September 2022, LeAnna previously held senior and data scientist roles at Elder Research, Inc. from May 2015 to September 2022. LeAnna's early career includes serving as an Institutional Research Analyst at Rhodes College, where collaboration with faculty addressed research questions related to college policies and student impact. An internship as a Data Analyst Intern with Shelby County Government involved groundbreaking analysis of HIV prevention methods, while a Policy Analyst Internship with the US Department of Homeland Security provided experience in grant system assessments. LeAnna holds a Master’s Degree in Analytics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Rhodes College.
